GUIDELINES FOR PARENTS
  1. Parents are expected to know the Rules and Regulations of the school and abide by the rules laid down by the school from time to time.
  2. The rules and regulations are mentioned in the Student Handbook and your ward should carry his/her Handbook to school everyday and all correspondence needs to be duly signed by you.
  3. Whenever you correspond with the school regarding your ward, kindly quote his/her full name, class and section.
  4. Relevant communication should be addressed to the teacher and/or the Principal.
  5. No Child will be allowed to leave the school premises during the school hours without prior permission in writing from the Principal.
  6. It is mandatory for parents be present on the day of the PTSM.
  7. Parents are required not to visit the students in the classroom without the permission of the Principal.
  8. Parents are requested to give a complete medical report of their ward in case the child is suffering from any ailment.
  9. Parents are requested to help their ward to make and implement a time table and thereby create a positive environment where the child can study independently.
  10. Parents are advised to educate their wards to respect civic rules by not allowing minors to drive two wheelers like motor bike/heavy vehicles.
  11. Criticism of the teacher or the institution in the presence of their children should be scrupulously avoided because it may cause loss of respect for their teacher as well as the school.
  12. Only the parents or legal guardians of students are allowed to meet the school administration and teaching faculty. Siblings or other family members will not be entertained.
  13. Early leave is to be availed only during emergencies. Requests for early leave will not be entertained for family functions, appointments etc.
  14. Parents are requested to seek appointments with teaching faculty prior to visiting the school and adhere to the stipulated school visiting hours.
  15. Parents must ensure that their child attends all school activities, absenteeism must be avoided.
  16. Please inform the school/class teacher immediately in case of change in address and phone number or any other important document.
  17. The Handbook is a ready reckoner and planner for students. Comments made by parents in the Handbook should be confined strictly to the student's work and conduct. All other matters concerning the school should be dealt separately. They are to be either conveyed personally or through separate letters.
  18. Any important notices, holidays communication and homework from school's end will be shared via ERP (Edunext Parent App) and relevant class groups and will not be mentioned in this Handbook.
  19. We kindly request parents to dress modestly and appropriately when dropping off or picking up their children and during your visit to school.
  20. If a student repeatedly engages in misconduct, parents will be notified and required to acknowledge a formal warning. Accumulation of three such warnings may result in suspension or expulsion, as the school upholds strict standards of behaviour and integrity.
  21. All items belonging to your child should be clearly labelled with their name and class. The school shall not be held responsible for misplaced, unmarked belongings.
  22. Parents must not allow their ward to bring money and packed or junk food to school.
  23. All requests for certificates or official documents must be submitted in writing. These will be processed and issued within two working days from the date of request.
  24. Children proceeding on excursions, visits, tours, picnics etc. will be dropped and picked up from school by the parents only.
  25. Various activities are planned by the school for the enhancement of the child's personality. All parents are expected to cooperate and not restrain their children from participating in the same.
  26. Do not give money to your children to spend in school as there is no canteen. Please guide your children not to buy anything from roadside vendors/booths outside the school as there is no assurance of quality, purity and hygiene.
  27. English is an international language but not the mother tongue of our children, extra efforts need to be made to develop fluency in speaking it while giving due respect to the vernacular and the national language, it is advisable to ensure that children converse in English as much as possible at home and school.
