Attendance/Leave Policy
- All students must attend school for at least 90% of the stipulated working days. Failure to comply with this attracts the highest level of punitive action. Hence parents are requested not to apply for their wards leave if avoidable.
- Students are accountable for any absence from school and need to abide by all the systems for such accountability as required by the institution.
- The school does not approve of students being absent from school upto three days before the exams on days scheduled for the discussion of papers.
- Punctuality is essential in all activities undertaken at school and failure to be punctual is considered a punishable offence and could well mean sending errant students back home.
- All students must arrive at school at the time specified in the daily schedule of the school without fail. Whenever Students individually or in a group-represent school in a venue outside school in any event or competition or a field trip or an excursion, punctuality must be strictly maintained.
- In case the leave of absence is due to any medical reason, a proper certificate from registered medical practitioner must be attached to the letter.
- While regular attendance is crucial, we understand that family obligations and medical exigencies may occasionally require a student's absence. In such cases, prior approval from the Principal is required.
- Leave applications must be submitted one day prior, online via Edunext Parent App or submit an application at the school office one day prior during school's operational hours. Format of leave application is mentioned for your reference.
- No half- day leave will be sanctioned for any reason especially on test days. Half day leave on the test day will be treated as absence.
- Parents are advised to refrain from social obligations like weddings, family functions etc. specially during exam days. The school will not be responsible for the loss of study or performance during that period. CBSE rules shall apply to all students appearing in Class-Xth board exams.
- Please note that school is not going to reschedule any written examination of Mid-term and Final term examination unless in case of medical urgency, (in such case parents must submit medical certificate of student in the school)
